Questions
I have compiled the most common questions I hear from clients related to massage, energy work, and other treatments. Contact us if you have further questions. Please feel free to ask!
How Can Massage Help Me?
Massage therapy helps treat a variety of health conditions, especially stress and tension related diseases. The medical community estimates that anywhere from 80%-90% of disease is related in some way to chronic stress and fatigue.
Will I be exposed during the massage?
The massage table is set up just like your bed at home, with a top and bottom sheet and when necessary a blanket.
When your therapist leaves the room you will undress to your comfort level. You then will lay down in between the two sheets and await the return of your therapist who will knock before entering the room. Only the body part being worked at the time will ever be exposed. Your pelvic area will always be covered. For the ladies your chest will be covered during treatment while lying on your back. If you are having pain in the low back or the buttock we will work that area only with your consent.
What do I wear to a massage treatment?
Dress comfortably in clothing that you would not mind getting oil on. If coming in after work, it is nice to bring a change of clothes.Come as you are and enjoy!
How can I benefit the most from my Massage?

*Massages benefits continue for many hours after treatment, so take it easy.
* Drink lots of water in the first 2 hrs after massage.
*Be on a massage treatment schedule. A 4-6 wk interval is recommended.
*After your massage soak in a hot bath with epsom salt and rinse. This is especially helpful after therapeutic treatments.
